The Connecticut Oncology Group
The Connecticut Oncology Group offers patients the hope they need with state-of-the-art treatment they deserve. We know what a frightening and confusing time this is for you and we are here to help you through it every step of the way. In addition to our highly-trained, Hemotology/Oncology physicians, we also have Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), chemotherapy-certified nurses and an on-site hematology laboratory with certified medical technicians on staff to best serve your needs.
Located within the heart of the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center, we have convenient access to all the diagnostic and treatment experts and technologies the Cancer Center has to offer. Additionally, our patients have access to the patient library, which is staffed with a part-time medical librarian who specializes in researching cancer-related information, as well as other support services such as the Center for Survivorship & Integrative Medicine.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive care for patients with hematology (diseases of the blood) or oncology (cancer) problems. Modern advances in cancer research have made treatment more effective than ever, and we strive to provide this care with warm, personal attention and support for our patients and their families.
